Ida’s christening cake – the bottom tier was covered in delicate hand made sugar flowers dusted in pinks and highlighted with pearl centres. A large open rose features on the top.
An adaptation of a previous Sweet Tiers design, towering tiers of vanilla butter cake filled with white chocolate ganache coupled with white chocolate and raspberry cake. Stencilled damask pattern encircles the bottom tier and the Sweet Tiers signature blossom booties – hundreds of delicate hand cut blossoms, dusted in hues of pink – feature on the top of this pretty cake.

This event was for a very special little man, my dear friend’s baby Michael. His christening was a truly special celebration for his family and I was honoured to be able to fill his dessert table with cakes and sweets for our sweet Michael!
I often collaborate with some of Melbourne’s most talented stylists in creating beautiful dessert tables for christenings. I had the pleasure of collaborating with the lovely and talented Thetis Sardo of Sooti Events for this pretty and elegant display to celebrate the christening of little Paris.
A sweet celebration designed around a gorgeous colour palette of blue, latte and white. A hand cut quatrefoil pattern features around the bottom tier and a hand made pair of sugar converse sneakers adorn the top of the cake.
