It was my wedding anniversary this weekend – and I spent it with Handi and Fran at The Cake School!
I have so been looking forward to doing this course… a 3D standing cake, entirely edible – all but the tail. Awesome.

It’s always a blast learning from Handi Mulyana and Fram McGregor – if you’re in Melbourne and have the opportunity do not hesitate to go along to The Cake School and hone your skills.  This was 2 days of learning the skill of perspective, structure and proportions…carving. ganaching, working with modelling chocolate and rice krispie treats, covering, sculpting airbrushing and coiffing Fifi to look every bit the refined, cultured pooch that she is!

She was a lot of work ad a lot of fun to create. A poodle with pink nail polish – cake doesn’t get any more fun than this!

Fifi was donated to the Rotary Club of Cranbourne and raised $382 for Breast Cancer Research as a part of Pink Ribbon Month.
