A Fairytale Wedding
A 7 iter confection for Melanie & Adrian. This towering cake was the centrepiece of their stunning wedding celebrations in Melbourne.
Quilted bottom tier, hand painted gold inlay with a hand made chocolate frog prince clambering up the cake, He is also painted in gold and encrusted in hundreds of Swarovski crystals. Oh, the romance! An oversized sugar rose offsets this stunning scene.

Gatsby Wedding Glamour
The world is mad for art deco decadence and glamour at the moment with the release of The Great Gatsby. I had the pleasure of creating this cake for Little Sooti who was exhbiting her beautiful styling at the Melbourne Bride Wedding Expo this weekend. Art deco inspired.. rich emerald green with gold and sparkling black sugar jewels. Opulent, decadent and very Gatsby.
Wedding at the Heide Museum of Modern Art
I was very excited to have the opportunity to work with Thetis of Little Sooti on this wedding in February. I’ve long admired her work and its always a joy to collaborate with a talented stylist on a gorgeous event.
Love is in the air
Bessie & George’s Valentine wedding cake featuring hearts, of course, and a ruffleliscious bottom tier. Their wedding was set in the country in an amazing setting with elements of vintage chic, hobo and lots and lots of love from family and friends…a truly romantic affair.
I’ve wanted to ruffle up a cake for a while now. I first saw these gorgeous ruffles done by Sydney’s Yummy Cupcakes and Cakes -inspired by a Vera Wang wedding gown. Fondant couture. Sigh.
Congratulations Bessie & George!
