Wow. This cake was huge! This is what I call tiers of happiness!
A towering confection made for a lucky little boy’s spectacular first birthday celebration.
This pretty palette of powder blue, pinks and hues of cream set the scene for a vintage themed Christening styled by Melbourne’s Boutique Affairs. It was fantastic to be a part of such gorgeousness and elegance.
Vintage inspired cookies decorated in hues of cream and pearl, with a touch of gold made for a wedding anniversary celebration. Hand piped lace, embossed vintage patterns dusted with lustre and intricate patterns highlighted with sugar pearls.
These were created for a vintage wedding… cupcakes and cookies. I was actually surprised at how long these took! Very labor intensive but the results were well worth it. Roses, piped lace and blossoms. Sigh…
Alex from Avie & Lulu styled a Valentines Day themed party and I was chuffed to once again be involved in one of her events. Hearts, ruffles, pinks and touches of gold set the mood for this gorgeous celebration – which was also featured in the premier issue of UK magazine ‘Cake!’ A great honour indeed – especially since my little ruffle cake adorned the cover! *squeal!*
This cake was created for a christening. It is a combination of a couple of Confetti Cake’s – of NYC – anemone cake designs. The client sent me a picture and wanted this cake but with that amount of flowers in this colour… well, the instructions were clear! This was my first time making the beautiful anemone flower and I must say I loved making them and will most likely use them again – soon!
